Our client, a leading renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions provider with national operations, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to plan and oversee energy and water projects across South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with renewable energy experience to manage cutting-edge projects in solar, battery storage, hydro, and energy efficiency sectors.
Cape Town (Preferred), Durban or Centurion | National Travel Required
Requirements:
- BEng (Mechanical or Civil Engineering), B.Sc Eng (Mechanical or Civil Engineering), BTech (Mechanical or Civil Engineering),
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Renewable Energy and/or Construction Management
- Experience with planning and overseeing Energy and/or Water projects
- Experience with Solar PV systems (design, installation, commissioning)
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) experience
- Hydro or other renewable energy technologies exposure
- Project management experience from concept to completion
- Construction site management and supervision experience
Highly Advantageous:
- Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
