Job Title: Production Engineer – Mining Industry
Location: Northern Cape, South Africa
RPO Recruitment’s client currently seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated Production Engineer to join their mining team in the Northern Cape. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet company targets and deadlines
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Collaborate with the operations team to address any production issues and implement solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating effectively and safely
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in production engineering
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- GCC Mines & Works
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Section Engineer in the mining industry
- At least 2 years Supervisor experience
- Sound knowledge of mining operations and production processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
