Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: Rondebosch
We are aiding the search for a qualified and experienced Paraplanner to join the “Personal Trust” team in Rondebosch. The Paraplanner will work closely with their financial advisors to provide comprehensive support in preparing and implementing financial plans for their clients.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Conduct research on investment products, financial markets, and regulations to support the financial advisors in developing financial plans for clients.
- 2. Prepare financial reports, including cash flow projections, retirement planning analysis, and investment recommendations.
- 3. Assist in the preparation of financial planning proposals and presentations for clients.
- 4. Review client accounts and make recommendations for adjustments or enhancements to their financial plans.
- 5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial planning.
Requirements:
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2. Certification as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or working towards obtaining this certification.
- 3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial planning role.
- 4. Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
- 5. Excellent analytical and research skills.
- 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
