A well established mining client the that designs, manufactures, supplies and services an alternative drilling mining systems, have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Serviceman to be based in the Free State. The successful candidate will conduct underground maintenance on the drilling equipment. The candidate will undergo six weeks of specialized training at a training center to learn maintenance procedures for all drilling equipment. This role also involves hands-on underground experience, performing maintenance on advanced drilling systems. If this sound like you apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance on our underground equipment
- Compile product performance data
- Facilitate on the safe and effective use of all equipment
- Control equipment allocation
- Manage underground stock and tools
- Good housekeeping
Requirements:
- Must have Matric with maths and science
- Must not have worked on a mine before- students/manufacturing computer literate entry level, need to be local to Orkney or Welkom
- Must be from North west (Orkney/ Fochville/ Carltonville/ Klerksdorp/ Potch) or Free State Province (Welkom area)
- No criminal record
- Must have done any further studies at a collage after school in engineering for example N1, N2, N3, N4
- Must be computer literate
- Must be medical fit to work underground.
