RPO’s client is seeking an experienced ESG Analyst to join their team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and their impact on business operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving sustainable practices within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth ESG analysis and assessments for various projects and business operations.
- Monitor and report on ESG trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement ESG strategies and policies to enhance the company’s sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business decisions and processes.
- Prepare and present ESG reports, disclosures, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote ESG awareness and drive sustainable business practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant ESG regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG analysis, sustainability, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex ESG data to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ESG software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
